Our 15-Day Return Policy

We accept returns within 15 days of delivery for most items, provided they meet the conditions below. All returns are subject to inspection to ensure they’re eligible.

Eligible Items

Unopened and Unused Expendable Products: Items like tape measures, whiskers, and markers must be in their original, unopened packaging.

Equipment and Tools: Lasers, prisms, and other gear must be unused, in original condition, with all accessories, manuals, and packaging included.

 

Defective or Damaged Items: If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 3 days of delivery, and we’ll make it right.

Non-Returnable Items

Opened or used expendable products (e.g., laths, whiskers). Custom-ordered or personalized items. Items marked as “final sale” at purchase.

How to Return an Item

Follow these steps to process your return:

1. Contact Us: Email us at sales@united-ss.com or call (512) 428-6466 within 15 days of delivery to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

 

2. Pack the Item: Securely package the item in its original packaging, including all accessories and documentation. Include the RMA number on the package.

 

3. Ship It Back: Send the package to United Surveying Supplies, 17016 Joe Barbee Dr. Suite 100, Round Rock, Tx 78664, using a trackable shipping method. You’re responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we made an error.

 

4. Inspection and Refund: Once we receive and inspect your return (typically within 3 business days), we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method. Refunds exclude original shipping costs.

Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective product or the wrong item, let us know within 3 days of delivery. We’ll cover return shipping costs and send a replacement or issue a full refund, based on your preference.
